Ubisoft also shared that players who purchase Ghost Recon Breakpoint after or during the free weekend will have their progress carry over to the full game, allowing them to continue their experience. Players on PC can already begin preloading the game before the free weekend period begins. During the free weekend, players will have full access to the base game’s content as well as the latest DLC, Operation Motherland, which introduces a new chapter to the story and the new “Conquest” game mode, an alternative to Breakpoint's usual gameplay. In spite of that, Ubisoft has continually released updates and DLC for the game. 2019's Ghost Recon Breakpoint received mixed reviews at launch.
